Carmel Designers & Architects gather for an afternoon of learning:
Being a member of the Indiana Design Center has some great benefits. One of those benefits is the opportunity to house events, such as lunch & learns. This past month, Franklin Window & Door hosted a great Continuing Educational Opportunity for local Designers & Architects to learn all about "Fenestration in Contemporary Residential Applications." This event was presented by Architect, Steve Lien, with Marvin Windows & Doors.
Being that contemporary design is one of the hottest trends in the housing market today, this educational offering was a perfect fit for many of our top designers and architects in the Indianapolis Area. With the housing trends calling for more glass which means bigger windows and doors, it is important to understand all that is required when a wall structure is mostly glass vs. the traditional wall systems. This presentation helped them work through some of these important considerations.
Not only did we learn quite a bit, we enjoyed a great lunch too!! Cheers Steve!
Franklin Window & Door would like to give a big thanks to the Indiana Design Center & Marvin Windows for helping us put together this great educational event. We would also like to give a big thanks to all of the designers & architects who attended!
