Franklin Window and Door got the opportunity to travel to Sugarcreek, Ohio to visit Provia's state of the art manufacturing plants this week. What ended up being a lengthier than anticipated car trip, resulted in a rewarding experience for all of the employees who attended. Owners, Scott and Cori Brown, along with window and door expert, Kate, spent Monday and Tuesday being guided around three individual plants, obtaining firsthand knowledge on how the Provia products are made and handled within the factory.
Bright and early last Tuesday morning, the Franklin Window and Door team toured the glass factory, vinyl window factory and the door plant facility. With each stop, the team was able to see, firsthand and up close, how each and every product is manufactured. This included everything from new, specialty glass, to vinyl window sashes and frames. According to Cori, it was extremely beneficial, especially from a sales mindset, to better understand how each product is made in the factory. Along with construction, the Franklin Window and Door team was able to finally put faces to all of the beautiful, quality products Provia manufactures and sells.
Lastly, Scott, Cori and Kate were able to sit down and converse with Provia executives regarding ideas and ambitions surrounding the products and services provided.
In its entirety, this experience aligned with Franklin Window and Door's focus on being the experts in window and door design, sales and installation.
And Franklin Window and Door would like to thank everyone at Provia for providing and continuing to provide a wonderful window and door experience. Also, a special thanks to John Mannion, Franklin Window and Door's Provia Representative, for being there each and every step of the way.
