This is probably one of the most important questions to ask yourself. The two primary options for window replacement installation are full frame replacement and insert replacement.
A full frame window replacement means that the installer will tear out your old window sash and frame and replace it with an all new window unit.
An insert window replacement means that the installer will tear out the sash of your old window while leaving the frame in place. The new window unit including a new frame and sash will sit within the old frame.
