Italian architect, designer, and “collector of design masterpieces,” Cristina Celestino is renowned for her creative vision and a presence that is at once bold and delicate. Ms. Celestino says, “I’m curious toward all objects and art forms and I try to find a new attitude for them.” This is beautifully exemplified by the Lilli Light, featured in ELLE DECORATION France October 2019 Edition.
Celestino designed the Lilli for Kundalini, an Italian company that specializes in exclusive lamps. Every Kundalini product “tells the story of a specific creative and technological journey,” and is “perfectly balanced between function and emotion.”
The Lilli brings these ideals to life (and to light!). Inspired by the harmonious world of flowers, the pendant lamp features an opal diffuser that is made of two layers of mouth-blown glass and a sleek satin brass structure.
The sophisticated, contemporary Lilli Light is a result of Celestino’s curiosity about the world around her - and her ability to infuse her unique style and turn an everyday object into a work of art.
